Line Rider

Overview

Line Rider is an easy-to-use software in which the user uses his pointer to draw lines in which an animated character traverses. The user can adjust his lines and select between colour and many other different aspects. It was quite revolutionary back in the day but now seems outdated.

What am I gonna use the software for

I will use the software to generate a track for my rider as a component for my Tech Blog.

How to use the program

Line Rider uses your pointer to generate lines of your chosen length to create a basic track for your rider. You can include drops with a predetermined height which if you go over your character will be dislodged from his sledge. Extra detail (in the forms of colours, lines which you can go through, and enhanced settings) are available but not mandatory.

What type of Animation it is

Line Rider is a CGI animation. It uses computer-generated comics to make an animation.

Evaluation

Line Rider is an easy-to-make and easy-to-use software, that while it is fun to use, is considered quite outdated compared to other CGI products we have access to today.
