AN OVERVIEW OF PIVOT
Pivot is an animation software in which the user can apply a stick figure (or any figure if they have the template) into different positions in different frames. This is played at a high speed, in which it becomes a moving animation.
USE
In the example provided, Pivot is used to generate a fight between stick figures and many other basic actions that can be created on Pivot.
PMI:
POSITIVE
Pivot is an easy-to-use software that requires little tutorial and is a great way to showcase one's imagination.
MINUS
It can take quite a while to make all the frames, and this requires a lot of dedication for some projects.
INTERESTING
Different templates can be accessed which can add new figures (i.e. tanks, guns etc).
HOW TO USE
Pivot starts off with a stick figure in the centre of the screen. Other stick figures can be added afterwards. Coloured circles around the body are used to move that area (i.e. a red circle on the elbow moves the elbow and the hand). Once a movement has been confirmed, a new frame must be added to distort that movement or focus on a different movement. during development or once it is finished, it can be viewed as a whole. The whole thing can be changed at any time.
TYPE OF ANIMATION
Pivot is a CGI animation. CGI stands for Computer-Generated Images and is used in many special effects films to make it seem more realistic.

EVALUATION
In conclusion, Pivot is a very good software that can easily allow everyone to show their imagination and its potential. However, the amount of work required to make it look good and legitimate will not be everyones cup of tea.
